13th Century Falchion for re-enactment
A re-enactment falchion weighing 1.15kg and with an overall length of 72cm, this falchion is quick and light for such a broad looking blade, 7cm at its widest blade point. Finished with a rough historical grind and red leather over a 10cm length wood grip. Balance point is 6cm. Made from EN47 with a hardness of 48 Rockwell, it has a reasonable flex and the tip is 6mm thick.
