15th Century Skull cap

from £120.00

A skull cap made with nice shape and cut outs for the ears from 2mm mild steel, 2 halves welded. I have focused on recreating a piece which would look like a good quality skull cap but not perfect, the edges have been purposefully left wavy (but not sharp) and rough file marks remain so it looks like a less expensive polish job. The holes for the liner which is not supplied and would be typically sewn in have been punched so have a recess which is visible, a feature we see on historic examples.

Perfect for a Man-At-Arms and great for Reenactment or the use of Harnischfechten.

Supplied with black leather which is dyed using an authentic historical technique.

These are made to measure. Once an order is placed we will contact you with a measurement form to get the measurements needed.
