How we make our swords

The swords you purchase from Lancaster Armoury are made from a steel alloy commonly referred to as Chrome Molybdenum. We use this steel for several reasons, it has been in use by Lancaster Armoury and tested to the limits over 20 years. The steel is incredibly resistant and would prefer to bend rather than snap making it safer on the battlefield. Because of this, it is often possible to keep a heavily used sword for 10 years or more.

To make swords to match every patrons use I classify them into "fighting types"
