ENDORSEMENTS:-

There are claims being made that I/we endorse an imported armour product. This is not true!
Lancaster Armoury cannot endorse other armour products, particularly cheap armour imported from the subcontinent regions.
The reason for this is simply we do not know what standards of quality control have been applied in its construction. A good general rule is "you will only get what you pay for"... e.g.. A helm comprising of two halves poorly welded together is unlikely to continually sustain the shock impact of contact medieval combat without suffering from metal fatigue - even if it is 1.6mm mild steel.

We strongly advise you seek advice from others in your own group and learn from them.

Measurements for armour

Although we are not currently supplying Armour, we hope to be able to again in the future. The following will be true if/when that happens. All of our armour is made to fit the wearer.  The comfort of your armour is dependent upon supplying the correct dimensions.  See this document (pdf file) for details of what measurements we require from you when ordering.
